This is FMCG packaging, the kind that usually sits inside a large London network. Here it happens inside a twenty-strong studio in central Leeds.

The studio is independent in feel and part of a global agency group in backing, which is how the briefs stay ambitious while the team stays small enough to know every project properly. It's currently in a growth phase, recently rebranded, with new client relationships and fresh talent joining.

The Role
You'll create and develop packaging design across food and drink for some of the country's most recognisable brands. This is not an execution seat. You're expected to bring conceptual and strategic thinking from the sketch stage, and to present your ideas directly - to internal teams and to clients - and defend the thinking behind them.

You'll work under the guidance of the senior team, including a Creative Director with 15+ years across respected UK and US branding studios. You'll also help develop junior designers and shape how the studio works day to day. Collaboration here is direct: strategy, production and client service sit close, not siloed.

The Person
You have three to five years in a design or branding agency, with hands-on FMCG or retail packaging experience - food and drink especially - and a portfolio built on real client work. You're fluent across Adobe CC and comfortable presenting your own ideas. You're at the point where you want to own concepts and start mentoring, not just deliver artwork.
