The Role
You'll lead the strategic design direction on one of the world's largest beauty brands, managing 5+ new projects weekly across packaging development and brand world creation. This is an 80/20 split between packaging and broader brand work - substantial volume that demands both strategic rigour and creative excellence.

You'll manage and mentor a senior designer dedicated to this account, providing creative direction that challenges briefs and elevates thinking. The role moves fluidly between hands-on design work and strategic oversight, depending on what each project demands. Beyond your primary account, you'll collaborate across the broader studio on work spanning luxury retail, international consumer brands, and diverse FMCG categories.

Your influence extends beyond project delivery. You'll shape design culture across a 20-person design team within a 40-person London studio, demonstrating the creative thinking and strategic approach that defines excellent work.

The Person
You're a Design Director with 8+ years at agencies known for strategic brand thinking, currently working on major FMCG beauty brands. Your portfolio demonstrates conceptual strength across branding, packaging and identity work - not just execution, but the strategic thinking that makes execution meaningful.

You have people management experience and move comfortably between shaping creative direction and guiding teams. You're ready to establish yourself as a creative leader whose judgment and taste define the quality and ambition of the work.
