The world's largest independent brand agency has built its reputation over 26 years working with some of the most recognised names in consumer goods - from global confectionery and spirits brands to emerging tech companies. Now they're expanding their New York studio with a Design Director to lead their care sector practice.

The Role
You'll direct creative vision and execution for beauty and personal care brands, working within a 70-person studio that contributes to a global network of 350+ people across eight offices. This role sits within the agency's structured practice model - four specialised pods covering mainstream consumer goods, craft drinks, care and beauty, and corporate work - giving you category focus while maintaining access to cross-collaboration opportunities.

You'll work strategically with creative directors and client service leads to shape category direction, present to senior stakeholders, and influence output across functional teams. The work operates at the same calibre the agency delivers for major global consumer brands, with immediate creative authority to guide teams and define how concepts evolve from brief to execution.

$135,000 - $175,000
Hybrid working: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office
21 days annual leave plus 3 personal days

The Person
An established Design Director with 8 - 12 years of experience at a major consumer goods-focused agency or consultancy. You've delivered work on beauty, personal care, or consumer brands at the calibre this agency produces for its global roster. You have proven leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and the confidence to present to senior clients.
