The Booking:
One of our clients in NYC, a luxury industry focused agency, is looking for a Freelance Creative Director to cover a maternity leave - starting mid-November until March.

This is a hands-on CD role, leading an established creative team while managing client relationships and driving pitches and presentations.

Lead creative across major CPG accounts including
Develop concepts, pitches and presentations
Provide creative direction, mentoring and day-to-day team leadership
Work closely with clients and senior stakeholders

We’re looking for an experienced Creative Director with strong agency experience who can step confidently into an established leadership role and quickly take ownership of the creative output. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, making decisions, setting the creative direction and providing clear, considered guidance to the team.

A strong background in CPG and mass-market branding and packaging is essential, with relevant experience across beauty and personal care, oral care, and food - particularly confectionery. You’ll understand the demands of working with large consumer brands and be able to balance ambitious creative thinking with commercially effective, well-crafted work.

The role is very much hands-on, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys developing ideas, shaping concepts and building strong pitches and presentations, as well as directing and mentoring others. You should be confident presenting work, leading creative conversations and building trusted relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.

You’ll be US-based and able to work regularly from our NYC studio, collaborating closely with the wider team throughout the cover period.
