Senior Digital Strategist
Manchester
You’ll own the strategy behind SEO, AI Search, paid media, email, analytics and websites, and be the person clients turn to for a point of view, not just a report.
The agency is a Manchester-based B2B specialist working with clients in the industrial, science and technology sectors, from Australia to Sweden to the US. With twelve award wins over the past six years, this role is a deliberate part of building out the digital team, which means real scope to shape how that function scales.
The Role
You'll develop and deliver digital strategies across six disciplines - SEO, AI Search (AEO/GEO), paid media, email, analytics and website optimisation - for a global B2B client portfolio. Day-to-day, that means leading always-on programmes, running audits, competitor analysis and technical reviews, and producing quarterly performance reports that translate data into decisions clients act on.
Your work feeds directly into the agency's proprietary strategic framework, rather than sitting alongside it as isolated tactics. You'll act as a trusted advisor: joining client workshops, strategy sessions and new business pitches, and helping define the agency's wider digital approach. You'll work closely with client services, content and design throughout.
The Package
£36,000 - £42,000
Hybrid working: 2 days a week in the office
Company bonus scheme
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Dedicated training and development budget
Quarterly socials and monthly team outings
The Person
You'll have at least four years in digital marketing, gained agency-side, ideally with exposure to B2B, and a working understanding of long sales cycles, technical buyers and complex decision-making units.
You're fluent in GA4, Search Console and Tag Manager, alongside standard SEO, PPC and reporting platforms, and increasingly across AI Search. Most importantly, you've moved beyond execution: you can turn performance data into strategic recommendations, and you hold your own when advising clients directly.
